We use a hands-on technique known as manual therapy to mobilize and manipulate your body in an effort to decrease pain and increase your range of motion.
Manual therapy is very effective in adding flexibility to stiff joints and muscles.
These treatments, when coupled with our prescribed exercises, will allow you to regain your strength faster by being able to work on your rehabilitation at home between visits.
People with vestibular disorders often experience problems with vertigo, dizziness, visual disturbance, and/or imbalance.
These are issues that can seriously impact a person’s quality of life, making them uncertain about leaving their home on their own and curtailing their normal lifestyle.
We use a specialized form of vestibular therapy intended to alleviate both primary and secondary problems. We include specialized exercises that result in gaze and gait stabilization. Most involve head movements.
Balance and Fall Prevention
Dizziness and balance training issues can seriously impact a patient’s quality of life, making it difficult for them to conduct the normal issues of daily life and fostering fear of going out alone.

A concussion is a disturbance in the brain function stemming from indirect or direct force to the head.
We use a number of assessment tools to aid diagnosis and monitor recovery. While physical and cognitive rest are needed in the initial stages of recovery, we work with patients to ensure as the symptoms resolve that their postural stability is also healthy, as the majority of concussions can be accompanied by neck and shoulder pain.
Our work with recreational and competitive athletes as well as with motor vehicle accident patients has allowed us to gain considerable experience in treating concussions and ensure that the patient does not return to active living until they are fully recovered.

In this therapy, we use needles similar to the kind used in acupuncture to seek out and diagnose muscle shortening in deep muscles.

As an oncology rehabilitation therapist she can provide oncology specific treatment for patients currently undergoing and who have undergone treatment for breast cancer. The treatment protocol is suitable for patients post-lumpectomy, mastectomy, reconstructive surgery and following both chemotherapy and radiation.
